Trapezium format (8,5x11 cm on the right hand side, and 10x7 cm on the left and bottom) 16 unnumbered pages printed on wallpaper and the insert on red paper. Text within ornamental borders, illustrated with cuts. Cover illustration by E.C. Peixotto. Fragile publication, with some staining to the external pages and chipping to the extremities, damage to the right upper corner of the front-wrapper and small tears and chips on the edges of the back-wrapper.
Typical San Francisco turn-of-the century publication, close to "The Lark". A parody written and illustrated by Gelett Burgess, Ernest Peixotto, Herbert Van Vlack, Porter Garnett, Clinton Burgess, & Carl Howard. The insert on red paper is and advert for The Lark. Chipping to extremities.
