"The second edition of the Gutai is mainly prepared by modern artists in their twenties residing in the Koba-Osaka district as was the case in the first edition.
A special emphasis has been given to the works of Miss Toshiko Kinoshita whose art has a unique beauty created on canvas by the adoption of chemicals and also to the young talent seen in Miss Michiko Inui who is only thriteen years old".
Other contributors : Atsuko Tanaka, Akira Kanayama, Shigeru Tsugimura, Hiroshi Okada.
"Gutaï" might be literary translated as "Embodiment". (Yozo Ukita).
