Vol. 1 no 1 (all published). NY Lower East Side, 1967 [Fuck You Press], . . Folio, newspaper size, 8 pages, with illustrations, printed on white paper (faint fold due to mailing across, small chip at fold, very light toning and soilage only, else sound and complete).
Edited and largely written by Ed Sanders, although it does not carry the Fuck You imprint. On the front page in headlines: POET TED BERRIGAN TEACHES PARROT TO SCARF COCK. Contributions by Ted Berrigan, Michael McClure etc. Two full pages contain the comic 'The adventures of Supersnatch' (copyright 1967 Ed Sanders), and other content of a provocative and explicit nature.Not in FUG YOU, but long attributed to Sanders, the giveaway reveals itself: "A newspaper of truth, rectitude, honor & knowledge created, published & edited by an anonymous spur-Phantom at a secret location in the lower East Side, New York City, U.S.A." .
