FLUXUS- EUROPEAN MAIL ORDER HOUSE (Willem de Ridder)

Photo b/w 44 x 40 cm. of the reconstruction of Willem de Ridder's European Mail-Order House as reassembled by Jon Hendricks in the Contemporary Arts Museum in Houston (July 7 - September 16,1984), later (1986) repeated in Detroit. SIGNED by WILLEM DE RIDDER in red felt-pen in right lower corner. Verso blank. In mint condition (except for 1 very tiny corner bump at right bottom) .

The Flux-shop was reconstructed again at the MOMA New York with help of this photograph after the acquisition of the collection by Gilbert and Lila Silverman. In the middle a photo-cut-out of Dorothea Meijer, who could not be present herself at this occasion. According to my information the enlarged photograph was made for her, and another one (this copy) is signed by Willem de Ridder. Image in Fluxus Codex p.18,168,233.
