A. De Appel 1975-1981: 148 announcement flyers, posters and invitation cards. Mostly A4 flyers, b/w offset printed, often adorned with a De Appel logo stamped in green. Some sheets feature perforation holes due to storing in a binder (mentioned as 'perf.'). Also added are invitation cards and posters released in conjunction with the flyers. Notable large posters comprise the Hollandse Week/ Dutch Week (1976), Vito Acconci's The people mobile, a project for town squares in Holland (1979) and Dutch Treat, an exhibition curated by Wies Smalls/De Appel at Franklin Furnace in New York (1980). There is no record of all publications released, but as to the latest research there appear to be around 200 items in total for this period. All items in used but fine condition unless otherwise noted.

Exhibition catalog for an event entitled ‘On Nothing’ inspired by John Cage's lecture, and held at the famous Galeria Foksal in Warsaw, Poland. 1976. Single sheet, 42 × 60 cm, printed recto and verso, folded twice to create a catalogue. Gostomski (1932-2017) was a Polish painter, actor, and photographer, and one of the co-founders of Galeria Foksal. The gallery was founded in 1966 by contemporary artists and former members of the Polish constructivist group of the 1920s. It was intended as a non-commercial space, and operated in a nonofficial way, managing to stage numerous exhibits of avant-garde and neo-avant-garde art, including action art and happenings, sometimes by artists of international repute, in spite of the limitations of the communist regime. Scarce, KVK and OCLC show copies at the Stedelijk Museum, Kunstbibliothek Berlin, MoMA, and the British Library.
