Very important French Jazz magazine, directed by Eddie Barclay till no. 8, after that by Boris Vian (who had been contributor till then, with varying alias-names). In no. 8 we find the following note by Barclay at the bottom of each page: "Le Directeur Général de Jazz-News décline toute responsabilité en ce qui concerne la teneur du présent numéro". Boris Vian stayed on as director till the end of publication.
